Barnet midfielder Tom Champion has joined National League side Lincoln City on a three-month loan.
The former Cambridge United man has seen little first-team action this season, and made one substitute appearance in the Bees' tie with Accrington Stanley last month.
While Football League clubs cannot operate outside the transfer windows under new rules introduced this season, non-league clubs have scrapped their system altogether.
Head coach Martin Allen told the club website: "I’ve had numerous offers for Tom over the last five weeks. Lots of clubs have rung and asked about Tom and I always let the players know when there’s an offer.
"But I explained to Tom that I wanted to keep him and he would play. But opportunities have been very limited for him."
