Barnet will play Shrewsbury Town at New Meadow in round one of the FA Cup.
Last season's tournament saw the Bees beat Blackpool before going down to a 1-0 defeat to Newport in the following round.
They join 79 other teams in the first round of football’s oldest club knockout competition.
League One Shrewsbury have endured a less than impressive start to their league campaign and currently sit 23rd in the table.
They do however enjoy a recent pedigree in the competition after making it to the fifth round last season.
Their FA Cup run was halted by eventual winners Manchester United as they suffered a 3-0 home defeat.
The match will be played on the weekend of Saturday, November 5.
