Former Barnet boss Martin Allen has left Eastleigh after just 12 games in charge, the Times Series understands.
Allen left The Hive in December and admitted the lure of greater financial reward with non-league Eastleigh played a role in his decision to do so.
His tenure at Ten Acres yielded only two wins and he departs the Conference club with the Spitfires sitting 15th in the table.
His final game in charge came in a 1-0 defeat to Macclesfield on Tuesday night and Eastleigh are now without a win in seven games.
