Punters were bowled over at a Barnet footgolf course yesterday as the England cricket team dropped in for a teambuilding exercise fresh from last week's ODI win over South Africa.
The international side will take on the same opponent in a four-test series beginning on Thursday at Lord's, and warmed up with some fine leg showings at Tudor Park, the first 18-hole footgolf course in London.
Former captain Alastair Cook, his successor Joe Root, Moeen Ali, Stuart Broad and Jimmy Anderson were among the group to make their way around the course, with the latter seeing off the tricky 17th 56-yard hole.
Tudor Park has previously hosted Arsenal's first-team squad - and after one charity auction winner paid £2,800 to accompany a member of their side around the course later this month, it will soon see more familiar faces on its greens.
