Kezie Ibe scored with almost the last kick of the game as Hendon rescued a 1-1 draw with Slough Town in the third quaifying round of the FA Trophy on Saturday.

The two sides will go head-to-head again tomorrow in Berkshire for a chance to host Bath City or Margate at Silver Jubilee Park in the first round, as Ibe cancelled out James Dobson's opener with his stoppage-time strike.

Slough started the better in North London and could have led seven minutes in, but Casey Maclaren's effort was kept out by a great Jack Turner save.

The two sides exchanged goalframe-bound efforts after that, with first Dobson smashing an effort off the bar from 25 yards, and then Zak Joseph doing likewise for the hosts with a free-kick.

Dobson couldn't believe his misfortune when he struck the post again just before half-time, but on the hour mark he finally got his goal.

Chris Flood ran to the byline before crossing low for the midfielder to tuck home confidently.

Slough looked to be heading into the first round with ease, even striking the goalframe again through Matt Lench in the final minutes.

But it was Hendon who would have the last laugh, with Ibe backheeling a corner into the net with only seconds to spare to spark jubilant scenes among the hosts.

Hendon: Lovelock, Eggleton, Murphy, Maclaren, Bray, lee, Uchechi, Corcoran, Joseph, Muir, Nathaniel-George.
