League Two side Crawley Town have completed the signing of Hendon winger Ashley Nathaniel-George on a two-year contract.

The 23-year-old impressed in his only season at Silver Jubilee Park, playing 59 games in all competitions and scoring 17 goals for the Bostik Premier Division club.

Nathaniel-George was a key fixture of the squad that narrowly missed out on promotion to the National League via the play-offs last term, and will now link up with Harry Kewell's men in West Sussex.

The wide-man, who lists Potters Bar Town and Aylesbury United among his former clubs, becomes the latest Hendon player to step up to the professional ranks, following in the footsteps of the likes of defender Charlie Goode who swapped the Greens for Scunthorpe United in 2015.

Crawley Town director of football Selim Gaygusuz told the club’s website: “We have been tracking Ashley for a while. Then we scouted him again at the Jamie Vardy Academy trials a couple of weeks ago.

“There were over 40 players there and Ashley stood out. He’s quick, loves to take defenders on and has got a good goalscoring record.”
