Students from Edgware and Finchley came away with medals from the 2008 English Open Taekwon-Do Championships at Crawley.
Pick of the bunch was seven-year-old Dunia Mangal, who won gold in her sparring division.
Dunia said: "I enjoy every minute of my Taekwon-Do training. Taekwon-Do gives me self-confidence which helped me to win gold. I look forward to more competitions and am encouraging friends at my school to come and train with me."
The United Kingdom Taekwon-Do Dojangs (UKTD), for whom Dunia was representing, achieved nine medals in total.
There were silvers for Sulaimaan Lim, Harris Mangal and Mehmet Alaca, while Imran Zaman, Freddie Gerrard, Sulaiman Mangal and Athal Mangal all won bronzes.
David Bogen, a 4th Degree Black Belt and secretary of UKTD, said: "We congratulate Dunia and all her fellow medallists from the UKTD on their dazzling achievement and look forward to building on this year's success at future championships.
"We would also like to wish Imran Zaman the best of luck with his forthcoming examination (grading) for the coveted Black Belt in April."
Imran, who will be 13 in November, has been training with the UKTD for five years. If successful in his grading, he would become the youngest black belt member in the group to achieve this status.
