Barnet striker John O'Flynn was more than satisfied with his home debut but admitted: "Ismail got me out of jail."
Captain Yakubu struck the winner in the 2-1 victory over Accrington, a minute after O'Flynn had missed a penalty.
However, O'Flynn, who had an eventful home debut, said: "I think it was a good save from the keeper and I'll have no hesitation in taking another penalty."
The striker scored within 30 seconds of his home debut, getting the Bees off to a cracking start.
Despite his later penalty miss, he was happy.
"It was a good start for me, though obviously disappointing to miss the penalty.
"I'm happy to be at Barnet and delighted to be back in English football.
"There is a good team spirit here. All the players fight for each other."
Manager Paul Fairclough added: "If you had said to him (O'Flynn) that he would score within 30 seconds of his home debut, he would have been more than happy.
"I know there are more goals to come from him."
