Barnet manager Paul Fairclough admitted his side did not deserve anything from their trip to Dagenham last night.
Fairclough, speaking after the 2-0 defeat, said: "I've got no complaints. We've been beaten by the better side on the night. It's as simple as that."
Fairclough was angry about the Daggers' opener, with one of the smallest players on the pitch being allowed to score with his head.
"We should have done better. The goal rocked us but we settled and got back into the game. Whilst we didn't really force their keeper into many saves, we had opportunities."
However, the second half was a one-sided event.
Fairclough admitted: "I don't think we got started in the second half. We didn't get out of the blocks and they imposed themselves on us.
"The second goal killed us off and one or two heads went down, which I was not pleased about."
However, Fairclough paid tribute to the victors.
"Make no mistake, Dagenham are a good side. If you've got some money spare, put a bet on them. They've got something special going on here at the moment."
