Barnet manager Paul Fairclough was a disappointed man after his side conceded a last-gasp equaliser at home to Gillingham.
The Bees put in a superb performance, but it was still not enough.
Fairclough said: "I'm hurting. It feels like a defeat. I don't know what we've got to do to win a game of football at the moment. It was an entertaining game, great for the neutral, but I was convinced we had won it."
Gillingham twice came from behind to draw 2-2, but their second equaliser, deep into stoppage time, was tough on the hosts.
Fairclough added: "My players have worked so hard and they have just been on the cruel, cruel end of football. It was a strong performance. Even when Gillingham got the first equaliser, we reformed to achieve a fantastic goal.
"It's all very disappointing and I'm upset at the moment. We've got to bounce back."
