MATCH-WINNER John O'Flynn attracted most of the attention at Underhill on Saturday.
And not surprisingly.
The in-form Irishman threw himself at an Albert Adomah centre to head the 87th-minute winner, his second goal of another cracking Underhill encounter.
But you could have picked out almost any Barnet player for praise.
On-loan keeper Jake Cole pulled off some stunning saves and, on another day, would have been man of the match.
Wingers Albert Adomah and Yannick Bolasie continue to terrorise defenders, and O'Flynn rightly heralded their part in his own rise to fame following this fourth Underhill win on the trot.
Then there is midfielder Nicky Deverdics who has quietly, but efficiently, gone about his business since being recalled to the side, not to mention the experienced Paul Furlong, Gary Breen and Matt Lockwood, who have all played their part in the recent transformation.
Manager Ian Hendon said: "We now have strength in depth and that is why we are getting results on a Saturday. The boys showed a lot of character (against Lincoln) and it was a fantastic performance."
The Imps also played their part in what was a great advert for League Two football.
Hendon said: "It was an end to end game and must have been enjoyable to watch for neutrals."
It was not all praise, however, and Hendon admitted that he still had words with his players in the dressing room after the match.
"I was disappointed with both goals we conceded. We can't keep conceding goals like that," he said.
Both goalkeepers were on the top of their game, which was just as well, or it could have ended five each.
Michael O'Connor gave Lincoln the lead midway through the first half, before O'Flynn rose to head home a Bolasie cross just before the interval.
Adomah gave the hosts the lead on 63 minutes, his left-foot shot taking a slight deflection before looping over Rob Burch.
The visitors responded through Adrian Patuela's far-post header within a minute, but O'Flynn's close-range diving header in the closing stages was enough to finally see off the Imps.
