Barnet 0 Hereford United 0

There was nothing to choose between the Bee's and the Bull's as they played out a goalless draw at Underhill today.

The wind played as much of a part as any player on the pitch.

Barnet fans had little to get exicted about untill the last four minutes when Ahmed Deen's header at the near post was scrambled clear by Bulls' keeper Adam Bartlett.

The visitor's had put the ball into the net just minutes before, but Leon Constantine's tap in was ruled out as off-side by the linesman.

In truth, Barnet did little to earn three points here today. Hitman John O'Flynn did not have a shot on target all game long.

The total number of shots on target by Barnet totalled zero at full-time.

Until boss Ian Hendon replaced him late on, Albert Odamah looked Barnet's biggest threat with his driving runs and crosses into the area from the right side.

But the Bulls were consistently first to the ball and carried more of a cutting edge.

Barnet struggled to supply their forwards throughout.

At times, Constantine and McCallum had Barnet's backline in panic, but the host's held firm to preserve their unbeaten home record.

The Bulls began with a bit more purpose, winning an early corner which Bee's keeper Jake cole collected comfortably.

John O'Flynn was buzzing around the box on 10 minutes when Adomah put in low cross after a neat piece of linking play by the hosts.

Bulls back Keith Lowe was in the right place to hoof it clear.

At the other end, Craig King should have done much better with his header from 10 yards out, with no Barnet player marking him.

Leon Constantine let fly with the first shot of the game after 30 minutes, blazing high over the bar.

Five minutes before the break and Clovis Kamdjo rose at the near post to meet Bolasie's wicked in-swinging corner. The ball fizzed over his head and past the far post.

The move gave home fans a rare cause for hope in what was otherwise a first half display by the Bee's lacking any sting at all.

McCullam's bending shot was just wide was last kick of first half.

After the break neither side could break through.

Constantine blazed over from Hereford's best phase of the play of the match, on 65 minutes. The Bulls danced through Barnet'd back line.

Later, Paul Furlong mis-controlled Deen's cross from a good position in the box. It was typical of all Barnet's efforts today.

Into the last ten minutes and Gillet's shot from wide left was just begging to be turned in for the Bulls, but Constantine and McCallum were a couple of inches too short.

Then on 85 minutes, the Bulls thought they had cracked it at last.

Constantine turned in McCallum's pass in the midst of a goal-mouth scramble, but celebrations cut short by the linesman who flagged for offside.

Full time: 0-0, and little to warm the fans at Underhill.
