Hendon slipped to a 24-12 defeat at Wasps Amateurs in Herts/Middx Division One on Saturday.

Though Wasps scored first, Hendon, with the back row of Eric Butler and Brian O'Regan excelling, went over the Wasps tryline twice in the space of ten minutes, but both efforts were disallowed.

Wasps then added a second try, before centre Jamie Connolly went over to reduce the arrears.

Hendon's Waters scored another try in the second half, but it was sandwiched between two further tries for the hosts. Hendon meet local rivals Mill Hill in a friendly this Saturday.
