North London soccer league for children launched

With an increased demand in North London for a football league to cater for children aged seven to 11, the Danny Grant Soccer School has been launched.

In response to parents wanting a league format in which younger children can improve their footballing skills and develop their fitness, Mr Grant has developed the North London Youth Football League There will be a training session one evening during the week and matches will be played on Sunday mornings.

Teams will be made up of players in five North London locations: Finchley, Hampstead, Mill Hill, Highgate and Southgate. More areas will be added shortly.

Trials for the 2010/2011 season will take place from May onwards.

Teams will be managed by FA coaches who have a wealth of experience teaching sport to young children.
