Barnet boss Lawrie Sanchez has confirmed Michael Hector’s loan spell with the Bees has been extended until January.

The 19-year-old defender has made three appearances for Barnet and has impressed in the centre of the Bees’ defence.

The on-loan Reading youngster joined Sanchez’s side on an initial one-month deal but said after his debut against AFC Wimbledon he was open about extending his stay at Underhill.

Sanchez said: “He (Hector) is enjoying his time here and the new loan players are yet to see Barnet lose, which is fantastic.”
