Barnet have bolstered their attacking options after completing a deal for former Dagenham & Redbridge forward Jon Nurse.

The Barbados international becomes Mark Robson’s seventh signing of the summer as the Bees head coach continues to shape his squad for the forthcoming campaign.

The 31-year-old spent five seasons at the Daggers but left the club earlier in the summer following the expiration of his contract.

The striker, who is also comfortable playing on the wing, began his career in non-league football at Sutton United.

After an impressive spell with the U’s he joined Stevenage in 2004 and he stayed at Broadhall Way for three years.

He signed for the Daggers in 2007 and scored one of the biggest goals in the club’s history as he netted the winner in their League Two play-off final in 2010.
