Potters Bar’s played out a rain affected draw against Bishop’s Stortford in the Home Counties Premier League.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Stortford could only post a total of 147 before being skittled.
Top order batsmen Mohammed Rizwan Akram (27), Henry Ramsden (32) and Eddie Ballard (32) got them off to a good start. But only two other batsmen, Chad Barrett (22) and Simon Lindop (14) could reach double figures for Stortford as the Bar attack took control.
Daniel Pascoe took four wickets for 64 runs and there were three wickets for Tim Phillips and Salman Choudhry.
With the bat, Bar were solid throughout and opener James Kettleborough impressed with 54 not out.
Tim Phillips provided a swift knock of 19 off 17 deliveries and Marc Milligan added 14.
Potters Bar were in a promising position with the score at 105 for four and George Scott (four not out) at the crease.
However, due to the weather conditions Bar were 20.3 overs through their innings when the game was ended and a draw was given as the result.
