Mill Hill move into second round of the National Junior Vase after win against Harlequins Amateurs

Mill Hill's late readmission to the National Junior Vase didn't affect the side as they completed a 18-12 victory against Harlequins Amateurs to move into the second round.

Only back in the competition due to the disqualification of Ilford Wanderers, Mill Hill stated the game well and two penalties from Woollhead put them ahead.

But Harlequins fought back and went in at the interval ahead after scoring a well worked converted try.

Two substitutions in the second period turned the game for Mill Hill as Potts went over to put the hosts back ahead.

Harlequins did mange to pull the deficit back to just one point but in the closing moments Elvery charged over to secure the victory.
