Barnet crashed out of the FA Youth Cup after suffering a 5-1 defeat away at Brentford.

The visitors, who had beaten Brentford 3-1 in league action earlier in the season, fell behind to a strike from Myles Hippolyte.

The home side then doubled their advantage shortly before the interval as Josh Stockwell found the net.

Barnet did have time to pull a goal back before the interval. Bees striker Shaq Hippolyte was bundled over in the box and George Skyes, who has made two appearances for the first team, fired home the spot kick.

However, Brentford upped their performance in the second 45 minutes and Stockwell grabbed his second of the night to put breathing space between the two sides.

Michael Onovwigun then smashed in a fourth for the hosts before Sykes came close for Barnet with a shot that struck the post.

Brentford rounded off their victory in second half stoppage time as substitute Fabian Rowe found the net from 30 yards.
