Former Barnet winger Albert Adomah made his World Cup debut as Ghana were beaten 2-1 by the USA last night.
The 26-year-old, currently at Championship side Middlesbrough, was a 78th minute substitute in the Black Stars' gut-wrenching defeat by the United States.
Trailing to Clint Dempsey's opener after just 31 seconds, Ghana levelled with eight minutes remaining through Andre Ayew.
With just four minutes left on the clock, American substitute John Brooks won the match for Jurgen Klismann's side.
Adomah left Underhill in 2011 after 120 appearances and 20 goals and has won 13 full caps for Ghana since making his debut in 2011.
