Barnet’s cheapest matchday ticket is more expensive than the equivalent at Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, the BBC Price of Football study has revealed.

The cheapest adult matchday ticket available for a Barnet match is priced at £17, the fourth most expensive in the Conference, and costs £4.25 more than the cheapest matchday ticket on sale for a Bayern Munich home game.

Borussia Dortmund (£12.84) also offer cheaper matchday tickets than the Bees, as do French champions Paris St Germain (£11.75) and Premier League sides Newcastle United (£15) and Hull City (£16).

Only Bristol Rovers, Alfreton Town and Lincoln City (all £18) sell more expensive tickets in their cheapest category.

The cheapest season ticket at The Hive will set you back £220, with Real Madrid selling their cheapest season ticket at £174.65 and Barcelona for £103.38.

Meanwhile the cheapest season ticket at Bayern’s Allianz Arena costs £109.65 and a season ticket at Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park as £159.77.

The Bees offer monthly membership rather than a conventional season ticket, which includes a number of perks. These include free access to London Bees home games, a 15 per cent discount on additional home tickets for Barnet FC and London Broncos matches, as well as the same reduction on all food and drink and merchandise at The Hive.

Fans can also choose to pay up front for as many months’ membership as they wish to, rather than taking out membership one month at a time.

Barnet’s most expensive season ticket is £220, which places the Bees 12th in the Conference’s most expensive season ticket standings.

A replica adult Barnet shirt costs £49.90, making it the most expensive in the Conference, League Two or League One. Championship side Blackburn Rovers price their replica shirts at £49.99 and are the only side outside of the Premier League to be more expensive than the Bees.
