Barnet forward Iffy Allen has denied he has joined Wingate & Finchley on loan, shortly after the Bees announced the forward would join the Blues for three months.
The Bees announced a deal for the 20-year-old to join the Blues for three months had been agreed, but Allen tweeted The Times Series’ Barnet-dedicated account, Barnet Bee, to deny the move.
Replying to The Times Series' tweet about his move, Allen replied: @iffy_Allen: @Barnet_Bee no I haven't
Allen is a product of the club’s academy and made his debut in an FA Cup defeat by Oxford United in 2012. He has since gone on to make two starts and six substitute outings for the club, with his first goal coming in the 3-3 draw at Lincoln City on the final day of last season.
The Lambeth-born forward spent time out on loan at Kingstonian and Redhill last term, before returning to The Hive to make three appearances towards the end of the season.
