Barnet winger Keanu Marsh-Brown is training with Peterborough United, but a loan move has not been discussed according to Posh boss Darren Ferguson.

The 22-year-old, whose last Bees appearance came as a substitute against Kidderminster Harriers last month, yesterday (Tuesday) tweeted an Instagram post of him in a Peterborough United training kit and the caption: "Decent first day training."

Marsh-Brown also sent an accompanying tweet, which read: @KMarshBrown: "Decent training session today feels great to be training and playing the team made me feel welcomed #humbled&blessed"

He has since deleted the image from Instagram and his Twitter account.

Posh manager Ferguson has this morning confirmed Marsh-Brown is training with the League One outfit, but denied that a potential loan move had been discussed.

The former Arsenal and Fulham youngster had the opportunity to join Conference rivals Forest Green Rovers on loan with a view to a permanent move, but turned down the chance to talk to Ady Pennock's side.

There had also been interest from Championship strugglers Blackpool, but the Bees rebuffed the Tangerines' offer for the wideman as it did not meet their valuation.

League One Posh, who sit just outside the play-offs in seventh place, have a number of wingers on their books but are reeling from the news Marcus Maddison will be sidelined with ankle ligament damage until the New Year.

Marsh-Brown, who joined the Bees on loan from Yeovil Town in March 2013 before making the switch permanent, has only made six appearances for Martin Allen's side this term, with five of those coming from the bench.

He has scored 14 times in 50 appearances in all competitions for the Bees.
