Martin Allen only has two injury concerns for Barnet's visit from Chester on Saturday, with Jon Nurse and Keanu Marsh-Brown the only absentees.

Luisma Villa (back), Lee Cook (knee) and David Stephens (foot) had missed both of the Bees' FA Trophy ties against Concord Rangers, but speaking after the 6-2 replay defeat, Allen confirmed the trio were available once more.

And Allen was keen to emphasise the importance of using his entire squad over the Christmas period, with Barnet playing four Conference fixtures in nine days between Boxing Day and the New Year.

Said Allen: "I do not think anyone can deny the next three weeks are a very important three weeks for our football club.

"We need everybody fit, available and ready. Some of our players have now played two games in four days and for some of those players who played tonight (against Concord Rangers), they have got to be ready to go into the first team."

He continued: "Keanu Marsh-Brown had a sore thigh in the second half on Saturday at Concord Rangers so he was not involved tonight (Tuesday), so we have got to try to get him back fit and well.

"We are all now fully fit apart from Jon Nurse, who has a strained medial ligament and will be out for six weeks," Allen added.

Chester sit 14th in the Conference after winning three of their last five - a steady improvement which has seen the Blues rise to the relative safety of mid-table.

Steve Burr's side were thrashed 5-0 by Barnet on the opening day of the season and Burr told the club's site: "It will be tough there as they are playing very well but I do feel that we have a score to settle with them, after what happened on the opening day of the season.

"We'll hopefully be completing the signing of a player soon who should give us options and he'll hopefully be in the squad on Saturday (Ilkeston loanee Kane Richards)."
