Young Barnet striker George Sykes has extended his loan deal at Canvey Island by a month after netting seven times during his first month with the Gulls.
The 20-year-old striker, who is currently transfer listed, will now remain with the Isthmian Premier Division side until March 14 after making the move on January 15 initally.
Sykes, who has previously spent time on loan at Bishop's Stortford this season, scored a hat-trick in the win 5-2 over Tonbridge Angels before scoring a 90th-minute winner against Lewes.
Further efforts against Dulwich Hamlet and Witham Town mean Sykes has seven goals in five starts and two substitute outings for the Essex side.
