Barnet saw their lead at the Conference summit cut to four points on Saturday after losing 1-0 at Wrexham.
John Akinde was sent off in the second half after earning a second yellow card for simulation, heightening Barnet's task.
Despite being down to ten, the Bees pushed hard for an equaliser to Robbie Evans' first-half strike but could not find a way past the in-form Andrew Coughlin in the Wrexam goal.
Charlie MacDonald came closest, forcing a fine save from the Dragons stopper, whilst Martin Allen's men also saw two strong penalty claims turned away.
