Barnet head coach Martin Allen is undecided as to whether he will shuffle his pack for Monday’s trip to Dartford (12.45pm kick-off) and confirmed Lee Cook missed the win over Nuneaton Town with a knock.

After easing past Liam Daish’s relegation-threatened 1-0 side on Saturday afternoon, the Bees return to action at Princes Park on Bank Holiday Monday knowing they can send Tony Burman’s side down with a win.

The game, which is being broadcast live on BT Sport, will be Barnet’s second in three days but Allen explained he had yet to think about what changes, if any, he may make for the trip to Kent.

Speaking on Saturday, he said: “I will think about that overnight. I am going home now for an early night. I will get in the shower, have cheese on toast and get back in here early in the morning at 8am.

“I will go through the DVD with our analyst Omar (Yabroudi) and think about players who can come in and freshen us up and I will make that decision tomorrow.”

He added: “I imagine there is going to be a lot of Barnet supporters making this trip. I was there in the week to see them play against Gateshead (1-1), so we will be ready to go.”

Experienced winger Cook missed Saturday’s success against Nuneaton and Allen refused to confirm whether the former Fulham wideman would be available for Monday’s clash.

He stated: “[It is his] shin – he got a kick at Alfreton. He was fine and then on Thursday he got another knock in training and we decided not to risk him today.

“I don’t know [if he will be available], we will find out tomorrow [Sunday].”

Dartford are currently 23rd in the Conference, ten points from safety. Defeat will see their stay in the top tier of non-league football ended after three seasons and captain Charlie MacDonald has stressed the importance of not taking the Darts lightly.

“It is going to be another tough game but you can’t take anything for granted,” he opined. “I have heard the pitch is not the greatest down there but you never know what the gaffer is going to do tactically.

“We need to go and put on another professional performance, make sure we are solid and get the job done.

"It is probably not going to be like the game here when we beat them 4-0 on the other Bank Holiday so it is going to be difficult – Bristol Rovers went there and drew 2-2.”
