Barnet were left to rue a host of missed opportunities as they lost 2-1 to League One outfit Peterborough United at The Hive on Tuesday evening.
Michael Gash volleyed home for the Bees at the death after meeting Sam Muggleton's cross. That after Souleymane Coulibaly and Harry Anderson had given Posh a 2-0 lead in the second half.
Dave Robertson's side had been poor in the first period and failed to truly test Bees trialist Ashlee Jones between the sticks.
Kevin Lisbie, Mauro Vilhete and Bira Dembele had all gone close for the Bees before substitute Gash finally pulled one back seconds before the full-time whistle blew.
