Barnet loanee Ben Tomlinson helped Grimsby Town to a resounding 4-0 win at Southport on Saturday to see the Mariners up to seventh in the National League.

The former Lincoln City attacker started up front with Jon-Paul Pittman but wasn't on the scoresheet as Paul Hurst's side picked up a comprehensive win.

Goals from Craig Clay, Craig Disley, Pittman and Josh Gowling sealed the win for the Cleethorpes side.

Harry Taylor played 66 minutes as Hampton & Richmond Borough picked up a late 2-1 win over Merstham in the Isthmian Premier Division.

The former Barnet Under-18s captain was replaced with the Beavers 1-0 down before goals from Jake Rose and Richard Pacquette in the final ten minutes clinched the win.

Former Bee Dean Sinclair was also in the Hampton starting XI.

Elsewhere in the Isthmian Premier Division, Shane Cojocarel was an unused substitute for Billericay Town as the Essex side won 3-2 at Lewes.
