Barnet secured their place in the hat for round two of the FA Cup on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Blackpool at The Hive.
Tom Champion put the Bees ahead by turning home Curtis Weston's near post corner delivery to cap a bright start from the hosts.
Michael Gash got the second for Martin Allen's men, rising highest to nod home Luke Gambin's teasing cross from the left.
Pool rarely threatened after the break and it was Barnet who looked more likely to score with Michael Nelson and John Akinde both going agonisingly close to extending their advantage.
