Barnet's five-game unbeaten run came to an abrupt halt at a soggy Kenilworth Road on Saturday as Luton Town picked up a 2-0 win to continue their own run against the Bees.
The Hatters have not lost to Barnet in five league and cup meetings and they continued that run by controlling the game in Bedfordshire.
Goalkeeper Jamie Stephens made two excelllent first half saves but could not prevent Danny Green from thrashing a precise first time effort into the top corner after 25 minutes.
Barnet were improved after the break but still struggled to carve out opportunities and failedJam to test keeper Mark Tyler.
The win was wrapped up when Cameron McGeehan slipped the ball past Stephens in the 67th minute after Andy Yiadom had blocked Jonathan Smith's route to goal.
