After waiting until March for his first goal of the season Barnet loanee Ben Tomlinson grabbed his second in a week as Barrow AFC beat Altrincham 3-2.

The forward, who opened his account for the season in last weekend’s win at Boreham Wood, got the third as the Bluebirds gave Alty caretaker Neil Tolson a losing start.

Jordan Sinnott put Altrincham 1-0 up before Danny Livesey, Andy Cook and Tomlinson pout the Bluebirds into a 3-1 lead.

James Lawrie pulled one back but it wasn’t enough for the visitors to salvage anything from the game.

In the Southern League Premier Division Joe Gater was involved as Chesham United drew 2-2 at Biggleswade Town.

Sam Youngs scored twice in the first half to send the Generals into the break leading 2-1. However, an 89th minute spot kick denied Andy Leese’s side.

In the Isthmian Premier Division Harry Taylor played the full 90 minutes for Staines Town in their 1-0 defeat against Brentwood Town.

Martin Allen said last week the young defender-cum-midfielder would be recalled to cover the injury to Bondz N'Gala.
