Every month between 60 and 100 players congregate in Golders Green to play rapidplay chess. Rapidplay chess is the chess equivalent of 20/20 cricket; fast and furious!

There are four sections, geared towards all categories of player including tournament beginners and Grandmasters, and all the games are officially rated by the English Chess Federation (ECF). You don't have to be a member of a club to join in.

And you can win cash prizes! There are over £400.00 in prizes for section winners, plus consolation prizes for those who do well on the day.
