Mark Robson and Edgar Davids will hope their Barnet side can build on their last two performances and secure a first away win of the season as they take on Chesterfield tomorrow.

The Bees have taken four points from their last two matches but remain bottom of League Two with seven points.

However, a 4-0 victory over Northampton Town and a battling goalless draw at Wycombe Wanderers have lifted spirits after a poor start to the season.

Ricky Holmes and Collins John remain doubts for the contest with an ankle injury while Curtis Weston and Freddie Warren have returned to training this week.

The Bees have won just once in seven matches against Chesterfield but did claim a 2-2 draw the last time to two sides met.

Robson is expecting the Spireites to provide strong opposition but added the Bees will go to the Proact Stadium full of confidence.

He added: “It will be a tough game for us. They came down last season from League One and they have some good players in their side.

“They try to play decent football so it should be an entertaining game. They lost on Tuesday so we will go there full of confidence.

“We’ve taken four points from six in the last two games and kept two clean sheets. It is looking good.”
