Barnet Elizabethans moved out of the bottom two places in the London Three North West League table after claiming a 27-6 win over Haringey Rhinos.

Elizabethans led 7-6 at half time after the visitors had successfully kicked two penalty goals at either side of a converted Rob Cameron-Staff try.

Barnet improved after the interval and extended their advantage as Jonny Hart was successful with the boot before Peter Moulton won the kick and chase to go over the line.

In the closing minutes, Elizabethans secured the bonus point after a fine team move allowed prop forward Mike Healy to drive over for his team's fourth try.

The victory boosts Barnet’s survival hopes and they will be looking to round off the first half of league fixtures with a victory when they visit Welwyn on Saturday.
