Edgar Davids admits “things have to change” if Barnet are to move off the bottom of the Football League and end a six game winless run.

The Bees suffered a 1-0 defeat at the weekend away at Dagenham & Redbridge and are currently two points adrift of 23rd place Bristol Rovers in League Two.

Barnet take on Burton Albion tomorrow - a game which starts a run of four matches in ten days for the Bees.

With plenty of points on offer, joint Barnet head coach Davids believes changes need to be made.

However, he remained tight lipped on what alterations would be made.

The Dutchman explained: “We have to make a couple of changes to get the results. We have to change something because we see some good spells in games but we have to get something going to turn it around.

“You have to draw a line. You can only have so many chances without getting results so there are now going to be consequences.

“If you look at the (Dagenham) game we didn’t have a lot of chances against us. But you have to be sharp and I think they had two good opportunities and they scored.

“It is the same old song every week so we definitely have to change things now.”

He continued: “No matter when you are at the top or at the bottom you need to win games. If you do not win the games then you will struggle.

“Sometimes you have to make some changes but in the position we are in you have to win every game.

“If you are mid-table then you don not have the same sort of pressure but we have that.

“And it is always difficult to play when under pressure because some players can handle that pressure.”

When asked if he believed personnel changes needed to be made, Davids replied: “Maybe but also need to look at it tactically.” The former Juventus star did add there were areas in the side he is looking to improve.
