Edgar Davids believes the festive football schedule gives Barnet a “great opportunity to pick up results and points”.
The Bees start a run of three matches in six games when they travel to Gillingham on Boxing Day and Davids believes the fixtures give Barnet a chance to push away from the bottom of the table.
He said: “I’m not going to lie, when you play that many games in a short space of time it is difficult for everybody.
“That’s not only for Barnet but also for the top teams. But you have to make the best of it.
“It is what it is. You have to accept it but it is a great opportunity for us to pick up results and points.”
