Barnet host Bradford City in League Two tomorrow and Bees head coach Edgar Davids admits the team must get “positive results” at Underhill.

The Dutchman’s side suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Aldershot Town on Tuesday – their first home loss in the league since the 4-1 loss to Plymouth Argyle in October.

Davids is expecting a tough game for the Bees. He said: “Even with a fortress a mouse can get in. What we have to do is to continue to build on the fortress.

“It is going to be another tough game for us because we need those points. The result against Aldershot was disappointing for us.”

The Netherlands international added: “We are in a difficult situation but that is what we have been in for the whole season. But we definitely have to get positive results.”

Adam Thompson, who has joined the Bees on loan from Watford, could go straight into the side for the game.

Collins John, Steve Kabba and Ishmail Kamara remain long term absentees for the Bees while Jon Nurse is suspended after he was sent off against Aldershot.

Davids admitted after the defeat against the Shots he was unsure whether he would be fit for the contest after a shoulder injury kept him out of the New Year's Day loss.

The Bees have a poor recent record against Bradford, winning just once in the last seven matches between the two teams.

When they took on each other at Valley Parade earlier in the campaign a disappointing performance from the Bees saw them easily beaten 3-0.
