Herts Baseball Club’s Will Zucker named in preliminary roster of the Great Britain Under-16 side

Herts Baseball Club’s Will Zucker has been named in the preliminary roster of the Great Britain Under-16 side.

The Herts Eagles pitcher and infielder, who only joined the club last year, originally tried for the Under-19 side but the national coaches assigned him to the younger team.

Zucker was one of ten players selected from the club and they joined up with the Great Britain teams last weekend as part of the next step in the process.

There will be additional evaluations later in the year and the size of the Under-19 and Under-16 roster will be reduced further ahead of the GB side’s 2013 international games schedule.
