Saracens’ Jared Saunders has joined Rotherham Titans on loan until the end of the season

Saracens’ Jared Saunders has agreed to join Championship side Rotherham Titans in a deal will see the prop go on loan at Clifton Lane until the end of the season.

The Titans are currently eighth in the Championship and Saunders will bolster their front row resources ahead of their rearranged match against Aberavon in the British and Irish Cup on Saturday.

The 22-year-old native South African has made ten appearances for the north London club since joining in 2010.

He made his debut against the USA at the Honourable Artillery Company in November of the same year; however, 2011/12 saw an injury plagued season for Saunders.

The end of the campaign saw a change in fortunes for the former Lions player with him overcoming his battle with a knee injury to represent Hertfordshire in their successful County Championship campaign and gaining international recognition on England Counties’ tour to Africa.
