Synchronised swimmers from Barnet Copthall visited the Great Britain synchronised swimming team for a training day with national coaches and a question and answer session with the London 2012 competitors.

Alice Bell, Vlada Kotter, Emma Frais and Jekaterina Zeddam, along with their coach Tanya Anderson, travelled to Aldershot and spent the day learning how the national team trains.

They spent time with the national coaches before speaking to the GB swimmers about their experience of the London Olympics and their aspirations for Rio 2016.

"The past week has been great motivation for Barnet Copthall’s synchronised swimming squad," Anderson said.

"They have spent time with some of our country’s best synchronised swimmers, including Jenna Randall, to inspire them to become a member of our national team in the future."

Barnet's swimmers brought several medals home from the Middlesex County championship and invitational meet.

Bell, 13, claimed top spot in the age group pre-championship section to become the county champion and Erin Klein secured bronze in the 13 and over ungraded section.

Nine-year-old Frais finished as the runner up in the level one category and teammate Zeddam claimed a bronze medal.

Both competed in the 12 and under age group. Eden Gibbons clinched third spot in the level one 14 and over section.
