A knock of 154 not out from Stevie Eskinazi helped Stanmore defeat Finchley by 31 runs in Middlesex Cricket League Division One

Stanmore and Finchley faced off in Middlesex Cricket League Division One and it was Stanmore who were celebrating as they claimed a 31-run win.
Stanmore posted a commanding total of 286 for six with Stevie Eskinazi impressing with a knock of 154 not out.
The dismissals were shared among the Finchley bowlers with Michael Edwards, Imran Qayyum and Frahan Butt all took two wickets.
Finchley’s reply was led by Joshua Knappett (100) and he was supported by Sayed Bukhari (39) and Ross Sutcliff (20).
However, the middle and lower order failed to show the same composure and they were skittled for 255.
Mukesh Bhatt did the damage with the ball, taking four for 70.
In Second XI Division One, Stanmore Seconds lost by eight wickets to North Middlesex Seconds while Finchley Seconds overcame Acton by 155 runs.
Stanmore Thirds lost against North Middlesex Thirds in Third XI Division One while Finchley Thirds suffered a 155-run defeat to Eastcote Thirds.
There were better fortunes for Finchley Fourths as they claimed a 31-run win against Ealing Fifths in 1987 Cricket League Division Two.
