Hendon completed a 3-1 win against Harrow Borough in the Ryman Premier Division

Two wins in the space of three days has elevated Hendon into the top half of the Ryman Premier Division.
Gary McCann’s side defeated Lowestoft Town 3-2 on Saturday and followed that up with a 3-1 victory on Monday night against Harrow Borough.
The six points have lifted the Greens to 12th in the early table and McCann was pleased with the defensive resilience his players showed against Borough.
He said: “I am really pleased to back up Saturday’s result with this one. We should have been out of sight in the first 20 minutes. On another day we could have scored many more than three goals.
“But I was delighted with the way we reacted to the Harrow goal.
“We are looking more like I expected us to be. James Fisher and Sam Flegg have looked good at the back and Kevin Maclaren and Lee O’Leary have been very solid in front of the back four. And Jefferson Louis led our front line magnificently again.”
Louis headed Hendon in front against Harrow after four minutes and doubled the lead 60 seconds later.
Hendon created several chances to add a third goal but they were pegged back ten minutes after the restart when Simeon Akinola netted.
Hendon came under pressure throughout the second period but a late goal from Anthony Taggart sealed the victory.
