England internationals Steph Houghton and Ellen White took part in a special coaching session for pupils from Camrose Primary School and St Joseph’s Primary School ahead of the FA WSL Continental Cup final.
Two times trophy winners Arsenal Ladies take on Lincoln Ladies at Barnet’s home stadium, The Hive, on Friday.
Houghton and White were joined by Lincoln players Megan Harris and Remi Allen on Tuesday afternoon to pass on tips, put the youngsters through a skills and drills session and answer questions about what it is like to play in the FA Women’s Super League.
The event was organised through the support of Barnet FC Community Trust and Houghton said: "It has been fantastic to come down to Barnet and get such an amazing reception from the club and kids.
"After winning The FA Women’s Cup earlier this year, we’ll give our best shot to bring home a second trophy. "
Arsenal have made it through to the final stage for the third successive year, after seeing off Everton in a 4-0 semi-final victory. Lincoln clinched a win against Liverpool following a nail biting penalty shoot-out.
It is third time lucky for Rick Passmoor’s side who have lost at semi-final stage for the past two years.
Friday’s final kicks off at 7.30pm and tickets cost £5 for adults and £2.50 for children and concessions.
Barnet supporters who are registered on the club's membership scheme are able to attend the match free of charge.
There will be also a free interactive fanzone held outside the stadium from 5.30pm.
