Barnet have completed the signing of former Wales international Carl Fletcher and goalkeeper Nick Jupp has extended his contract with the Bees.
Fletcher, who was capped 36 times, has previously played for West Ham United, Watford, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest and Plymouth Argyle.
During his time with Argyle, the 33-year-old was appointed caretaker manager following Peter Reid's dismissal in September 2011.
Fletcher was subsequently named full-time manager at the Pilgrims and retired from playing at the end of the 2011/12 season.
However, he was sacked midway through the following League Two campaign, January 2013, after a string of poor results.
Fletcher trained with the Bees last summer but picked up an injury during his time with the club.
However, he is now fully fit and is available to play in tomorrow's match against Hereford United.
Meanwhile, Jupp has agreed a new short-term contract with Barnet.
Jupp joined the Bees in the summer and has been the club’s number two goalkeeper behind Graham Stack this season.
He told the club website: “I knew the situation before I joined and although I am used to playing regularly I am happy to wait.
“I have to bide my time and I can’t expect to walk into the team but I will keep working hard and hopefully I will get my chance to shine."
