Hendon made it back-to-back victories in Herts/Middlesex Two after they recorded a 39-6 victory at Quinton on Saturday.
The visitors made an encouraging start and went ahead in the tenth minute as Mike Evan-Jones intercepted on halfway and broke forward before touching down.
They doubled their advantage as Evan-Jones grabbed his second score of the contest but Quinton replied with a penalty.
Hendon were back on the attack with another forward charge from Dave Connell who was stopped short. Quinton were penalised and Evan-Jones converted but another successful penalty from the hosts meant the score was 17-6 at the interval.
The visitors began the second period with a try as Mike Fawcett picked up and scored. Evan-Jones again added the extras.
Hendon were in control and Fawcett went over for a second time and John McCarthy also went over. Evan-Jones added another conversion.
McCarthy scored Hendon’s fifth try which was converted and Evan-Jones rounded off the victory by scoring the conversion.
