Finchley ABC’s Huda Chaima claimed the National ABA Schoolgirl under 54 Kg Championship at Brentwood.

Chaima, who was competing in the Class 1 born year 2000 category, took on Stafford’s Right Stuff ABC Phoebe Hodson in the final but didn’t put a foot wrong during the bout.

Chaima’s superior footwork allowed her to punch at distance using her quick feet to avoid Hodson’s rushing tactics and build up a lead in the first road.

Last year’s National Junior Box Cup Championship winner then pressed home her advantage in the second round.

Hodson was pushed back throughout the round which was won by Chaima and she then remained in control in the third to seal a unanimous points win.
