Paul Fairclough has been named Barnet interim manager and will take charge of tomorrow’s Skrill Premier match against Aldershot Town.
The Bees director of football will return to the touchline for his fourth stint as Barnet manager following Edgar Davids resignation on Saturday.
He will be assisted by coaches Ulrich Landvreugd, Dick Schreuder and James Thorn.
The club state there has been “an incredible amount of interest in the managerial vacancy” and believe Fairclough’s appointment will allow them time to “appoint the best possible candidate”.
Fairclough, who is also England C manager, was in charge of the Bees between 2004 to 2008 and helped the club achieve promotion to the Football League.
He remained with the club and was appointed caretaker manager in 2010 and 2011.
