Hendon staged a second-half fight back to secure a 42-27 bonus point win against Hillingdon Abbots in Herts/Middlesex Two.
Hendon had made a bright start with Harry Charles going over and Mike Evans-Jones adding the conversion.
But Abbots responded and scored two penalties and ran in three tries before the interval. Evans-Jones did score two penalties for Hendon but they trailed 27-13 at the interval.
Hendon were much improved after the break and Charles and Judah Simpson went over with Evans-Jones adding a conversion.
Mike Fawcett crashed through to put Hendon ahead, Evans-Jones again added the extras, and further tries from Ger O’Donoghue and Simpson completed a fine comeback.
