Barnet have released Dutch striker Marciano Mengerink and Spanish midfielder Roberto Casabella.

Both players joined the Bees last summer but have struggled for regular first team football.

Casabella, who began his career at Atletico Madrid, made an impressive start to the season but lost his place in the side following injuries.

He made 11 appearances for Barnet, the last of which was as a late substitute against Wrexham in February.

Mengerink joined the club from non-league Dutch side SDV Barnveld. He played 21 times for the Bees but only made only five starts.

His only goal for the club came in the 3-3 draw with Aldershot Town in September.
